Digital Goa, July 25 – In a shocking incident at Vathadev, Bicholim, a 32-year-old man allegedly hacked his wife to death using a sharp weapon in broad daylight on a public road. The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Rabiya Havangi. Police said the accused, Moinuddin Havangi, attacked Rabiya while she was returning after dropping their child for tuitions. She succumbed to injuries while on the way to the hospital. Initial reports suggest their relationship was strained. Police also suspect the accused may have been under the influence of narcotic drugs at the time of the attack. He later surrendered before the police.
