Digital Goa, Dec 21 – A woman in Bicholim was cheated by a bike-borne duo who posed as policemen and fled with her gold mangalsutra worth several lakhs of rupees. As per police, the two men approached the woman and identified themselves as police personnel. They asked her to remove her mangalsutra on the pretext of keeping it safe and handed her a packet in return. However, when the woman reached home and opened the packet, she found stones inside instead of her gold ornament. Police said CCTV footage from the area has captured two persons on a bike, and efforts are underway to identify and trace the suspects.
