Digital Goa, May 6 – A 60-year-old woman sustained serious injuries after being attacked by a crocodile at Nirankal, Dabal. The deceased is identified as Vishranti Gaonkar. The incident occurred today morning at around 7 am when she had gone to the Dudhsagar river bank at Nirankal to wash clothes. Locals rushed to her aid and she was rescued from the crocodiles. She was shifted to the hospital in Margao for treatment.
