Digital Goa, Oct 5 – Work of the stretch of road from Vithal Mandir Ribandar to Office of Crime Branch, Ribandar (Old GMC, Ribandar) will be taken up under Smart City project from Oct 7 to Oct 30. “Permission has been granted to the Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd for excavation of road for Development of Smart Ribandar with Operation and maintenance of selected facilities under Smart Cities Mission,” states the order issued by North Goa Collector. In view of this, all heavy vehicles, buses and four wheelers proceeding from Old Goa towards Ribandar shall be diverted from Hotel Ratnasagar junction Old Goa towards Kadamba Bypass road to proceed further. Similarly all heavy vehicles, buses and four wheelers proceeding from Divja Circle towards Old Goa via Ribandar Causeway shall be diverted at Divja Circle/bypass after Hobles Riverview Restaurant to proceed via Kadamba Bypass road, the order further adds.
