Digital Goa, Sept 26 – Worms were found in mid-day meals supplied to 2 schools at Keri and Savoi-Verem in Ponda during inspection. Three self-help groups provide food to these schools. The soya chunks in the pulao given to students were found having worms. Students were immediately initiated by the school authorities to refrain from consuming the pulao. State Education Dept has initiated inquiry in the matter. FDA has been asked to investigate the samples of the mid day meals. Appropriate action will be initiated after receiving the reports, informed dept officials.
