Aug 1 – WRD engineers are monitoring the water level at various locations in North Goa in view of increase in water level of the Tillari reservoir due to incessant rain in Maharashtra, informed WRD Minister Subhash Shirodakar. Gates are not to be opened but there is heavy flow of water, he said. Wherever possible they have been informed to take necessary action, he added.
