Dec 16 – A 24-year-old bike rider died in self-accident near Nesai Industrial Estate late Sunday night. The deceased, Alvito Tavares was a resident of São José de Area. He lost control of his bike, which crashed into a roadside protective wall, Alvito received severe head injuries, resulting in his death. Incidentally, he was not wearing a helmet. Maina-Curtorim police are investigating the matter.
