Digital Goa, December, 9 – A total of 159 nominations in North Goa and 168 in South Goa have been filed for the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections scheduled on December 20. Today marked the final day for filing nominations for the 50 ZP constituencies that will go to the polls later this month. As per the election schedule, scrutiny of nominations will take place on December 10, while candidates will be allowed to withdraw their names until December 11, following which the final list of contesting candidates will be published on the same day.
