Digital Goa, Jan 11 – Verna Police have registered a case against Niraj Salunke of Pune for allegedly cheating a Zuarinagar resident of ₹9.04 lakh in a green chillies export deal. The accused allegedly induced the complainant Nagaraj Prabhu, from Upasnagar, Zuarinagar, to invest ₹10.60 lakh by claiming high demand in Dubai, forged shipment documents using the complainant’s signature and seal, and allegedly sold the consignment at lower prices after misrepresentation.
