Digital Goa, Nov 9 – Four percent of jobs across all Goa govt departments will be reserved for Sports persons, announced CM Pramod Sawant today. He was speaking at the concluding ceremony of the 37th National Games in the presence of Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar. Only Police Dept and Fire Force had such reservation for Sports persons as of now. Sawant also said that the Private Sports University which will be established in Goa will fulfill nationwide requirement of technical and other experts in the Sports domain. He asserted that the state-of-the-art infrastructure which has come up in Goa during the National Games will be used to hold local, national and international events all through the year. Henceforth Goa will be known for Sun, Sand, Sea and Sports, he claimed.
