Nov 9 – The recent tenant verification drive has resulted into over 55,000 tenant verifications recorded in the month of October in North Goa district. Total 1 lakh tenant verifications were done in North Goa during last 10 months, informed SP North Akshat Kaushal. Porvorim police station tops the list with 20,000 tenant verifications this year and half of that done in October month alone. Calangute police station with 18,000 police verifications was second and Old Goa police station with 12,000 police verification was third in receiving police verifications. The police verification process will continue in view of the ongoing tourist season and upcoming events like IFFI and SFX exposition, Kaushal said.
