Jan 13 – Writer and businessman Datta Naik has been granted anticipatory bail in hurting religious sentiments case by Margao District & Sessions Court. He has been granted anticipatory bail on personal bond of Rs 25,000. Two cases of ‘hurting religious sentiments’ have been registered against Naik at Canacona and Margao respectively over statements made by him during interview given to a local media channel.
