Jan 23 – CM Pramod Sawant today said that he discussed with Prime Minister, Home Minister and other senior leaders about some works in the govt as well as some issues related to the party. He was speaking to media persons at Dabolim Airport after arriving in Goa from Delhi. He was accompanied by newly appointed BJP State President Damu Naik. “When party and govt are on the same page, everything goes on well and smoothly,” he asserted. Sawant said he met PM, HM, Union Finance Minister, Environment Minister, Defence Minister, Health Minister and BJP national president J P Nadda and discussed issues related to development, govt, tourism, demands before the 16th Finance Commission and also the political situation in the State. He however refrained from answering any queries related to cabinet reshuffle.
