Digital Goa, Mar 12 – Illegal structures which have stayed put at ‘Lala Ki Basti’ at Avchit-Vaddo, Thivim for nearly a decade and half will be demolished irrespective of whether it is Ramzan or Ramnavami, asserted Thivim MLA and Minister Nilkath Halarnkar today. Based on the availability of the demolition squad and other authorities the illegal structures will be demolished, he added. The structures were to be demolished in 2010, he said further. “The demolition of illegal structures erected by you in Survey No. 343/14 and/or 343/12, belonging to the Comunidade of Tivim, will be carried out any day, any time after March 11 if not removed,” read the notice issued to 25 houses last month.
