Digital Goa, Apr 2- A major water pipeline was damaged at Dhuler, Mapusa reportedly by an excavator used during ongoing cabling work, leading to large-scale water leakage in the residential locality. Water entered houses, basements of buildings, and a sawmill, causing significant flooding in the area. The incident is expected to affect water supply to Mapusa town and surrounding areas. Authorities are at the site, working to contain the damage and restore supply.
