Digital Goa, May 5 – Quepem Police have arrested Jaya Badgujar, one of three women accused of stealing gold worth ₹4 lakh from Bhavani Jewellery shop in the last week of March. According to the shop owner, the women posed as customers interested in buying gold chains and rings, but discreetly hid the items in their pockets and left undetected. The theft was caught on CCTV, leading to a police complaint and subsequent investigation.
