MMC issues notices to 264 roadside structures following High Court directive

Digital Goa, May 13- The Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) has issued 264 notices to owners of roadside structures across its jurisdiction, seeking documentary proof of their legality. The action comes in compliance with directions issued by the High Court. MMC Chairperson Girish Borker stated that hearings will be conducted later this month or next month before the Chief Officer. “The owners will have to present their documents, and the legality of the structures will be decided based on what is submitted,” Borker said.
