Digital Goa, May 21 – A house burglary has been reported in Sankhalim, where valuables worth approximately Rs 2.25 lakh were stolen from the residence of businessman Nikhil Merkar.The robbery took place on April 25. The accused — Bheema Kale from Bijapur, Babajan Shaikh from Karnataka, and Javed alias Devidas Pawar from Solapur — allegedly broke open the main door and stole Rs 75,000 in cash, a gold chain, and a gold coin. Police have arrested Javed @ Devidas Pawar (40) from Solapur in connection with the theft.
