Ambergris case: Three accused remanded to four days police custody

Digital Goa, June 6- The three accused arrested by Sanguem police in connection with the seizure of whale vomit (ambergris) worth over Rs 10 crore have been remanded to four days of police custody. The accused—Sainath Shet from Ponda, Ratnakant Karapurkar from Sancoale, and Yogesh Redkar from Sawantwadi—were produced before the Sanguem Court today. The court granted the remand to facilitate further investigation. The trio was nabbed on Wednesday night while allegedly attempting to deal in the rare and banned marine substance, commonly used in the perfume industry.
