Digital Goa, June 12 – Sameer Shaikh, a youth from Sanguem’s Savordem working with an NGO in North India, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a rented room in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. According to preliminary reports, Sameer had recently travelled from Goa to Delhi. His family filed a missing person complaint at Curchorem Police Station after losing contact with him. Acting on his last known mobile location, Curchorem police traced the rented accommodation in Ghaziabad, where Sameer was reportedly staying with four acquaintances. Police recovered Sameer’s body from the premises. Two of the roommates have been traced and detained.
