Digital Goa, June 12 – Denis Kriuchkoy, a 51-year-old Russian national residing in Arambol, was arrested in a late-night narcotics raid by Mandrem Police for allegedly possessing drugs worth Rs 3.65 lakh. The raid took place near Yoga Academy at Madhlawada, Arambol, between 12:40 am and 3:10 am on June 12. Kriuchkoy was found in possession of 300 grams of charas and 6.45 grams of MDMA, along with a mobile phone. Police revealed that Kriuchkoy had been living in the Anjuna area since 2017 and was previously arrested in 2021 for the murder of a Russian woman. Although released on bail, he allegedly resumed drug trafficking operations in areas including Anjuna, Calangute, Arambol, and Mandrem. His activities were being closely monitored by Mandrem Police .
