Digital Goa, June 20 – Mohammad Suhail alias Michael (48), a notorious land grabbing accused who was absconding, was arrested today by the Crime Branch near a petrol pump in Quepem. Suhail, a resident of Pilar, Goa and originally from Davangiri, Karnataka, was wanted in Crime Branch under sections related to forgery, cheating, and criminal conspiracy. Suhail is a habitual offender and the mastermind behind several land grabbing cases. He has previously been arrested in over a dozen cases between 2012 and 2023 across Goa, including those registered with SIT, EOC, Mapusa, and Porvorim police stations, involving serious charges like forgery, cheating, criminal breach of trust, and criminal conspiracy.
