Digital Goa, July 2 – Several parts of Goa including capital city Panaji were lashed by heavy rain and gusty winds today. Most of the roads in Panaji were flooded causing disruption in traffic and normal life. Visibility was reduced substantially due to heavy cloud cover. Panaji recorded 61.2 mm rainfall from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. Dabolim recorded 57.2 mm rainfall during same period. Dharbandora and Sanguem recorded over 100 mm rain in the last 24 hours ending 8.30 am followed by Sakhali 66.8 mm and Ponda 58 mm rain.
