Digital Goa, July 17 – Directorate of Official Language, Government of Goa, has launched the Lokbhasha Sangrah Yojana, a three-year scheme to collect, coin, and preserve words, phrases, and cultural terms in local languages, including Konkani and Marathi. The aim is to compile extinct and technical terms for use in administration, education, science, and other fields. The scheme will support publication in print, digital, and audio-visual formats. Committees of experts will lead the work, and contributors will receive honorariums. Public awareness activities will also be conducted to promote the initiative.
