Digital Goa, July 28 – Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardesai alleged that the Mormugao Planning and Development Authority (PDA) has granted an NOC for hill cutting in an ecologically sensitive area at Sancoale and demanded its immediate revocation. He said the land in question is a private forest with a steep slope, yet was cleared for hill cutting. “If this land can be allowed for hill cutting, then no hill in Goa is safe,” he warned.
