Digital Goa, July 30 – The Goa government has introduced an amendment to the Goa Land Revenue Code, 1968, in the Legislative Assembly, adding Section 38A. The proposed section aims to regularise unauthorised dwelling houses built on government land before February 28, 2014. Under the bill, encroachments on plots up to 400 square meters may be regularised by the Deputy Collector upon payment of a price determined by the government. The bill is expected to be passed next week.
