Digital Goa, August 8 – Mopa Airport Police Station has registered FIR against Uber management in Goa and a driver, Devendra Satardekar, for allegedly operating without a valid transport permit at Manohar International Airport, Mopa. As per the complaint filed by the Assistant Director of Transport, Vasco, the accused driver was found picking up passengers using the Uber app without the required state transport license. The FIR, registered on August 8, relates to the incident that occurred on March 5, 2025. Authorities allege that Uber, in collusion with the driver, violated Goa’s transport regulations, posed safety risks to passengers, and caused a loss of revenue to the state.
