Digital Goa, August 8 – A heated discussion erupted in the Assembly over the GCZMA’s permission for a loading and unloading jetty at Odar and Xelvona in the Curchorem constituency. Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira informed the House that the SEAC has given the project proponent 15 days to respond to its queries, failing which the proposal will be rejected. Pointing out that local panchayat has passed a resolution opposing the jetty, he said final decision will be taken keeping people’s sentiments in mind.
