Goa State Film Festival’s 10th, 11th & 12th editions to be held from Aug 14–17

    Panaji, August 9 — The 10th, 11th, and 12th editions of the Goa State Film Festival will be held from August 14 to 17, 2025, showcasing Goan regional language cinema in Konkani and Marathi along with an array of workshops, In-Conversation sessions, and Masterclasses.

    Movie screenings will take place at Maquinez Palace Theatre and INOX in Panaji.

    The festival will feature 21 awards in the feature film category and seven awards in the non-feature category, with competition coming from 19 feature films and four non-feature films.

    Feature films in competition include:

    Questaio de Confusao, Miranda House, Kaajro, 7 Dayz, Juze, Amori (Dusk), Chopadi, Glory, Mopa Diary, Amizade, Bade Abbu, D’Costa House, Pedru Poder, Ransaavat, Fotting No. 1, Gang, Tem’ Battle of Egos, Crazy Mogi, and MOG.

    Non-feature films in competition include:

    Wagro, Goy: Swatantryach e Homkhan, Gathan, and Kupamcho Daryeo.

    The festival will also host engaging knowledge-sharing sessions:

    Workshop: Painting with Light: Cinematography as the Soul of Cinema by Shri Neelaabh Kaul — Aug 15, 10:30 am at ESG.

    Masterclass: Understanding the Power of Cinema through its Elements by Pankaj Saxena — Aug 16, 11:30 am at ESG.

    Masterclass on Acting by veteran actor Kanwarjit Paintal — Aug 16, 10:00 am at ESG.

    Masterclass on Movie Action by Shri Chitah Yajnesh Shetty — Aug 17, 10:00 am at ESG.
