Digital Goa, August 31- The Ministry of Railways today announced the commissioning of a 312 km stretch in Karnataka, from Hosapete to Tinaighat, as part of the larger 363 km project extending up to Vasco da Gama in Goa. According to an official statement by Indian Railways, the double-tracking of the Hosapete–Vasco da Gama route will significantly speed up the transportation of coal, iron ore, and steel, while also boosting tourism to Goa and Hampi.
