Digital Goa, Sept 9, 2025 – Goa government has issued a circular making it mandatory for all government departments, semi-government corporations, and autonomous bodies to reserve four percent (4%) of Group C posts for meritorious sportspersons in direct recruitment. A circular to this effect has been issued by the Department of Personnel on August 25, 2025. The circular is in line with the Goa Sports Policy 2009, which aims to promote excellence in sports and ensure job opportunities for athletes representing the state at national and international events.
