Digital Goa, Sept 15, 2025 – Panaji: An expert team from Kochi Metro Rail Ltd, appointed as the nodal agency by the Government of India, has begun a feasibility study for implementing a water mass transit system in Goa, informed Minister Subhash Phal Desai. The team will assess the existing water transport network and suggest improvements in infrastructure, boat types, and environmentally friendly solutions to develop an advanced water mass transit system, which is expected to boost tourism in the state, he added.
