Digital Goa, Sept 17 – Goa govt’s Department of Information and Publicity is set to undergo a digital transformation with the launch of a project to design and deploy an AI-driven content digitization and centralized document management system. According to the tender floated by ITG, the project aims to digitise and index past, present and future content, including photographs, videos, and press materials. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) tools will be used in the proposed system for automated image tagging, sentiment analysis, duplicate detection, and metadata generation, ensuring that government records are easily searchable and well-organized. Once implemented, the initiative is expected to improve efficiency in information dissemination, strengthen public outreach, and provide seamless access to archival material for citizens, researchers, and media professionals.
