Digital Goa, Sept 22 – The North Goa Police reported a total of 85 preventive arrests during the week of September 15–21 as part of their ongoing preventive policing measures. According to the official update from SP North Goa, authorities also took 50 actions against public drinking, 258 actions under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA), and 83 cases related to smoking or spitting in public places. In addition, eight actions were taken against touts.
