Digital Goa, June 11- With the Southwest monsoon arriving late by six days in Goa, the state is currently experiencing a significant rainfall deficit of 41.9%. Since June 1, 2023, Goa has received an average cumulative rainfall of 60.5 mm, which falls short of the normal average of 104 mm. In the last 24 hours, Panaji recorded 49.2 mm of rainfall, bringing the seasonal rainfall total to 52.7 mm. However, this figure still remains 174.6 mm below the normal average. Today, between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm, Panaji received only 3.6 mm of rainfall. Similarly, Mormugao recorded 51.7 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours, contributing to a seasonal rainfall total of 66.2 mm. This is also 174.6 mm below the normal average. Today, from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Mormugao received a mere 1.5 mm of rainfall.
