Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated 3rd edition of International Purple Fest 2025, which is scheduled from October 9 to 12, 2025, in the presence of Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment ; Dr. Virendra Kumar, Minister of State of Social Justice & Empowerment, Shri Ramdas Athawale, Minister for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Shri. Subhash Phal Dessai, MP Rajya Sabha Shri. Sadanand Shet Tanavade , MLA, Dr. Chandrakant Shetye , CCP Mayor, Shri. Rohit Monserrate – CCP Mayor, State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Government of Goa, Shri. Guruprasad Pawaskar, Director, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Smt. Varsha Naik, Secretary Office of State Commissioner for Person with Disabilities, Shri. Taha Haaziq and others at ESG, Panaji.
The Fest is organised by the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and the Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Government of Goa, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, and United Nations India.
