Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board (IPB) has recommended notifying 68,550 sq mtrs of land at Latambarcem village in Bicholim taluka as an Investment Promotion Area for the establishment of a spiritual museum, libraries, archives, children’s games park, and other cultural facilities.The project is to be be developed by Siddhagiri Gurukul Trust, which plans to set up libraries, archives, and a museum showcasing the 16 Samskaras of Sanatan Dharma, along with a children’s games park and other cultural activities in the notified area. The IPB has already granted in-principle approval to the project and recommended the declaration of the site as an Investment Promotion Area. Government of Goa has now invited objections, if any, to the proposal. Individuals wishing to raise objections are expected to submit them in writing with reasons to the Director of Industries, Trade and Commerce, Panaji, within one month from the publication of the notification in the Official Gazette.
