Digital Goa, October 29 – The Central Government has issued a notification declaring its intention to acquire 22,485 sq mtr additional land in the villages of Lotoulim, Borim and Quela for the construction of a new high-level Borim Bridge along with approaches across the River Zuari and a proposed bypass between Km. 4/00 to Km. 12/00 on NH-566 in Goa. The proposed bypass will span 5.73 km. Any person interested in the affected land can submit objections within 21 days from the date of publication of the notification in the official gazette i.e. Oct 24. Objections are to be addressed in writing to the Competent Authority, the Special Land Acquisition Officer, PWD–National Highways, Altinho, Panaji, stating the grounds for objection.
