Digital Goa, Nov 6 – Relatives of 63-year-old Umakant Khot, along with local residents, have issued a stern warning to authorities, stating that they will not take possession of the body until the prime accused in the murder case are arrested. The family members have announced that if police fail to act , they will march to the Mandrem police station in protest. Locals has expressed strong dissatisfaction over the delay in arrests, insisting that justice must be delivered without further delay. Khot, was allegedly murdered in Varchawada, Morjim on Wednesday afternoon. Khot, who had been strongly opposing illegal hill-cutting activity at a nearby construction site, was allegedly attacked while on his way to meet a flying squad team scheduled to inspect the site.
