Digital Goa, Nov 10 – Drishti Marine lifesavers rescued 12 people from drowning across Goa over the weekend and provided first aid to a 28-year-old tourist from Hyderabad injured in a monkey attack at Dudhsagar waterfalls. Rescues were carried out at Sinquerim, Candolim, Calangute, Baga, Vagator, Miramar, Benaulim, Palolem, and Agonda beaches. Lifesavers also traced three missing children and administered first aid to three individuals. Among the rescued were tourists from Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Bengaluru, South Korea, and the UK, who were caught in rip currents or drifted offshore.
