Digital Goa, Nov 17 – A 23-year-old youth from Hyderabad, Shaikh Parvez, is feared drowned at Calangute beach after being swept away by strong currents while swimming during a Goa trip with five friends. His friend Mohammed Ibrahim, who attempted to rescue him, was pulled out in time by lifeguards and shifted to the Candolim Primary Health Centre. Parvez remains missing, and teams from Calangute Police, Coastal Police, and lifeguards have launched a search operation.
