Digital Goa, Nov 17 – Lifesavers responded to several emergencies along Goa’s coastline, including saving a 37-year-old woman from Vasco at Baina beach who attempted suicide and was swept into a rip current. She was rescued, stabilised and handed over to emergency services. Tourists were also pulled to safety in separate incidents at Majorda, Ashwem, Mandrem, Morjim and Baga after being caught in deep water and strong currents.
