Digital Goa, Nov 27 – The state cabinet has approved an amendment to the Compassionate Appointment Scheme to give priority to orphan children seeking government employment. The priority list currently includes around 800 applicants. Earlier, the government had amended the scheme to prioritise family members of employees who died while in service.
