Digital Goa, Dec 2 — Villagers of Carambolim, joined by RGP MLA Viresh Borkar and party president Manoj Parab, marched to the TCP Department office today demanding the revocation of permissions granted to a proposed mega project in their village. The project reportedly includes 84 residential flats, 46 commercial units and a swimming pool, which residents claim will disrupt the village ecosystem and strain local resources.The TCP has assured a site inspection on December 5, but villagers noted three previous inspections were announced and never held. They warned that if officials fail to visit again, the protest will be escalated.
