Digital Goa, Dec 7 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced financial assistance for the victims of the horrific Arpora nightclub fire that claimed 25 lives. Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), informed that ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) will be provided to the next of kin of each deceased. Injured victims will receive ₹50,000 each. In a post shared on X, PM Modi said he had spoken to CM Dr. Pramod Sawant regarding the situation and assured that the State government is providing all possible assistance to those affected. His message comes as authorities continue rescue efforts, body identification, and investigations into the cause of the fire.
