Digital Goa, June 21 – Social Welfare and Women & Child departments have been asked to streamline their functioning to ensure that beneficiaries of social welfare scheme get the money deposited in their accounts by 10th of every month, informed CM Pramod Sawant today. “As early as possible all departments will be streamlined,” he added. 11,513 applications of Griha Adhar are discontinued and some are kept on hold due to issues of bank mergers and dormant accounts. 276 pending applications of Ladli Laxmi scheme wherein the applicants are above 40 years of age will be reviewed and cleared.
