Digital Goa, Dec 18 – The Sewerage & Infrastructural Development Corporation of Goa Ltd (SIDCGL) has issued a public notice making it mandatory for all sewage tanker owners and operators registered with the Sewerage Department to install SIDCGL-approved GPS tracking systems on their vehicles within 10 days from the date of publication of the notice. The directive follows a government notification dated May 20, 2025. SIDCGL has warned that non-compliance will result in denial of permission to dispose of sewage at any Government of Goa-operated Sewage Treatment Plants, without further notice.
