Digital Goa, Dec 21 – A person travelling from Bicholim to Mulgao on a scooter was attacked by a leopard on Saturday night at Shirodwadi, Mulgao. The victim, identified as Digambar Naik, was reportedly dashed against by the wild animal while riding his scooter. Naik was immediately shifted to the Bicholim Health Centre, where he was treated for his injuries and later discharged. His condition is stated to be stable. Following the incident, locals have urged the authorities and the forest department to take urgent measures to prevent such mishaps, citing growing concerns over increasing leopard movement in the area.
