Digital Goa, February, 3 – Goa govt has withdrawn and cancelled with immediate effect the permission/No Objection Certificate (NOC) granted to Tiramalla Tirupati Multistate Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. for extending its operations and opening 13 branches in the State. The action follows regulatory inspection by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, which found serious non-compliance, including failure to submit audited financial statements, non-cooperation with inspections, violation of NOC conditions and ignoring statutory notices.The public has been advised to exercise caution while dealing with the society, specially while undertaking any financial transactions or investments with it. A press release to this effect has been issued by Registrar of Co-operative Societies.
