Expressing satisfaction over the incident-free Devi Lairai Jatra at Shirgao, CM Pramod Sawant said that the same pattern followed this year, particularly on the first day of the Jatra, will be continued in the future as well to maintain order and ensure the safety of devotees attending the event. The state administration had taken several measures for effective crowd management including a mock drill this year on the backdrop of a stampede at the jatra last year which had claimed several lives.
